Profile and discovery
Profile Visibility switches between Public and Private. Private profiles restrict what other people can view; accepted relationship permissions affect access. Do not assume a public-profile preview represents what every visitor sees.
Event History, Location Sharing, and Findable in Search control the corresponding privacy preferences. Turning off discoverability limits profile discovery through EVENTA search. Saved location preferences are not a promise of a live location-sharing feature.
Friend requests
Under Who can send friend requests, choose:
- Everyone: allow incoming requests broadly.
- Friends of Friends: require a mutual connection.
- Nobody: disable incoming friend requests.
Show Friends on Profile controls whether your friends list is exposed on your profile.
Blocked & Muted
- Open Blocked & Muted from the privacy area.
- Find the person in the appropriate list.
- Select Unblock or Unmute when you want to remove that restriction.
Muting hides a person's content from your feed. Blocking also restricts interaction and access. Neither action removes the other person's account. A blocked profile can appear as Profile Unavailable.
Use friends, follows, and circles to manage ordinary relationships. If a follow request is pending, the other person still needs to accept it.
