Community administration is available to owners, admins, and moderators, with action-specific restrictions. Members do not gain management access simply by paying for a tier.
Profile and appearance
Open Club Profile to edit Club Name, Club URL, Short Description, About / Description, category, location, tags, social links, and Community Guidelines. Add rules with a title and description, then save.
Changing Club URL can break previously shared links, bookmarks, and QR codes. Review the change before saving.
Open Appearance, choose Page theme, and review the preview. The theme applies to public club pages; administration keeps EVENTA's standard appearance.
Members and roles
- Open Members.
- Search by name or email and use All Roles or All Status filters.
- Open a member's action menu.
- Choose the permitted action and complete its confirmation.
| Action | Purpose and restriction |
|---|---|
| Invite Member | Invite friends or emails as member, moderator, or admin within your allowed hierarchy |
| Change Role | Change access; owners and higher roles retain protected permissions |
| Ban Member | Block community participation; enter the required reason and choose 1 hour, 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days, or permanent |
| Unban Member | Remove a community ban |
| Remove from Community | Remove membership; this does not delete the person's EVENTA account |
| Member Notes | Keep private notes visible to the community management team |
| Assign Recognition Badge | Recognize a member with an available badge |
Invitations distinguish registered users and external emails. Review pending invitations, resend them, or cancel them where offered. Expired invitations need a valid replacement or resend.
Access settings and ownership
Club Settings controls privacy, membership approval, post approval, and enabled content types. Owners/admins manage these settings.
Only the owner can Transfer Ownership. Select the intended member, read the confirmation, and type TRANSFER when prompted. The recipient becomes owner and the previous owner becomes admin. Only the new owner can transfer it again.
The roles are Owner, Admin, Moderator, and Member. Customizing their capability matrix currently displays Coming Soon; it does not grant editable custom community roles.
