Eventa runs a public Model Context Protocol (MCP) server. Point an AI assistant at one link and it can search events, clubs, venues and tournaments, answer questions from this help center, and, once you sign in, help with your tickets, RSVPs and clubs. Event hosts can also review guests and send invitations from the same chat.

MCP is an open standard. Any assistant or tool that supports remote MCP servers with sign-in can use this link. Eventa's server has been tested with Claude.
What you can do
| Level | Sign-in | Examples |
|---|---|---|
| Public | None | Find events this weekend, compare venues for twelve people, read a refund policy, browse running clubs |
| Your account | You approve once | Show my tickets, RSVP me to an event, join a club, ask a venue about a date |
| Hosting | You approve host access | Show today's sales, list guests waiting for approval, approve them, create a promo code, invite friends |
There are 34 tools in total: 17 public, 10 for your account and 7 for hosts. The assistant chooses the right one from your request.
How it works
- The assistant sends standard MCP requests to
mcp.eventa.live. - The MCP server asks the Eventa API for the same information the website shows, and applies the same rules. It has no database of its own and no special access.
- For personal tools, the assistant signs you in through Eventa's sign-in page (the same one you use on the website) and receives a short-lived access token that works only with this server.
- Each personal request is checked again by the Eventa API: the permission must have been approved, the route must be open to connected apps, and your connection must still be active.
You stay in control. You see exactly which permissions an app asks for, and you can disconnect it at any time in Settings → Connected apps.
What it will never do
- Buy tickets, take a payment, refund, or change payouts. Purchases always finish on eventa.live.
- Change your password, email address or phone number.
- Show anyone's email address, phone number or ticket QR code.
- Publish an event, or reach people other than through the two confirmed actions hosts approve.
