Open Membership Management in community administration. Owners and admins manage tiers. Owners, admins, and moderators have the membership-management access appropriate to their role; the available controls enforce that hierarchy.
Create or update a tier
- In Membership Tiers, select Add New Tier, or select Edit on a tier.
- Set Name, Description, price, billing cycle, and Benefits.
- Review whether the tier is free and whether it is highlighted as Popular.
- Save. If the confirmation offers Notify active members, choose whether to announce the update.
The edit screen labels billing cycles Monthly, Yearly, and One-time. BDT clubs cannot offer paid tiers in the current implementation. A tier change is not a role change: a paid member remains a member unless separately granted an administration role.
Read the confirmation before Delete Tier. Review existing memberships and any restrictions shown before removing a tier.
Build a join questionnaire
- Open Questionnaire, or Membership Management → Edit Questionnaire.
- In Designer, add questions such as Short Answer, Long Answer, Single Select, or Multi Select.
- Set each question's wording and answer options. Mark Required Field where an answer is essential.
- Use Preview to check the applicant experience.
- Select Save Changes.
Preview submissions do not create real membership applications.
Review applications
- Open Join Applications in Membership Management.
- Read the Applicant, Questionnaire Answers, Requested date, and Tier Requested.
- Select Approve or Reject for the application.
- Load more applications if the list continues.
Approval grants the membership allowed by that application and its payment state. Applicants can check their status and notifications. If the management screen offers a message action, note that the full global chat experience is not yet available.
Members: review subscriptions
Use Billing & Plans and its subscription area to review supported membership subscriptions, current state, and any available cancellation action. Read the effective date before confirming a cancellation; a recurring subscription and a community role are separate records of access.
