Use Forms in the event editor to collect information such as attendee names, preferences, or documents. Owners, admins, and moderators can edit forms.
Build a form
- Open Forms.
- For RSVP, enable attendee questions. For ticketed events, select a ticket type and enable questions for that tier. Add a ticket first if none exists.
- Select Add Question and choose a question type.
- Enter Question Label. Add optional Helper Text and Placeholder text.
- Add answer options for a choice question. Set Required if attendees must answer.
- Save the question and the form's changes.
- Use Form Preview to check the result. Preview responses are not saved.
| Question type | What attendees provide |
|---|---|
| Short Text / Long Text | A single line or longer answer |
| Dropdown / Radio Buttons | One option |
| Checkbox List | Multiple selections |
| Number | A numeric answer |
| Email / Phone Number / Website URL | The corresponding contact or link information |
| Date Picker | A date |
| File Upload | A file that meets the allowed type and size |
| Yes/No Toggle | A yes/no choice |
For File Upload, configure Accepted File Types and Maximum File Size (MB). The question builder allows a maximum setting of 50 MB; the actual upload must also satisfy the upload control's limits.
Review responses
Use Guestlist → View Details to see an attendee's Form Responses, when present. Event Insights also exposes form answers from orders, including View File links for uploaded answers.
Required answers must be completed before the applicable registration can continue. A form attached to one ticket tier does not automatically collect answers for every other tier.
