Open the event editor's Tickets section. Owners, admins, and moderators can manage ticket tiers. This section and Promo Codes are hidden for RSVP events.
Add or edit a ticket tier
- Select Add Ticket or edit an existing tier.
- Complete Ticket Details.
- Enable optional sale, validity, or quantity limits and enter their values.
- Save the tier and check the ticket summary.
| Field | Requirement | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| Ticket Name | Required | The tier name shown to buyers |
| Quantity | Required | At least 1 ticket |
| Price | Required | The amount for one ticket in the event's currency |
| Description | Optional | Up to 500 characters describing what the tier includes |
| Sale Period | Optional | Start and end of the purchase window; end cannot precede start |
| Valid From | Optional | When the ticket can be used; end cannot precede start |
| Limit Purchase Qty | Optional | Minimum and maximum per purchase; maximum cannot be below minimum |
Where tier controls offer Hide Tier, Hide Price, Disable Ticket, or Sold Out, use the relevant control to change availability or presentation. A manual sold-out setting can stop sales even if numerical inventory remains. A password-protected tier requires its own password; tier passwords must be 6–30 characters.
The summary distinguishes Total Tickets, Sold, Available, Earned, and Reserved. A reserved ticket is being held during checkout and may return to availability if its hold expires.
Create a promo code
- Open Promo Codes → New Promo Code.
- Set Promo Status and enter Promo Code.
- Choose Percentage (%) or Fixed Amount ($) and its discount value. The fixed-amount label is the interface wording; verify the event currency.
- Configure Min. Order Amount, Usage Limit, and any Global Usage Limit.
- Select Applicable Tickets or leave the selection empty for all ticket types.
- Set Start Date, Expiration Date, and optional Notes.
- Create the code. Check its status, redemptions, and expiry in the list.
A code can stop working because it is inactive, outside its dates, restricted to another tier, below the minimum order, or at its usage limit. Checkout must show the applied discount before the buyer confirms.
