Attendees: find your ticket
Open My Tickets or the order's tickets view after registration or payment is confirmed. Open the relevant ticket and use its available download or print controls. Keep its QR code ready at the venue. A shared batch-ticket link can also provide tickets issued directly by staff.
Ticket details can include the holder, ticket number, event schedule, venue, and assigned seat. Read the ticket's validity period, especially for events allowing more than one scan.
Staff at the door: scan a ticket
You need an active event role with scanning permission: owner, admin, moderator, or scanner. A general scanner label on an account does not authorize every event.
- Open Scanner and select an event from your authorized list.
- Allow camera access when your browser asks and aim at the ticket QR code.
- Review Ticket Information, its event, holder, assigned seat, and scan status.
- Complete the available check-in action and confirm that scan progress updates.
- Select New Scan for the next attendee.
Check a refusal before admitting someone
- Ticket is already fully scanned! means no scans remain.
- Ticket Refunded cannot be scanned.
- An unpaid ticket, wrong-event ticket, or revoked issued ticket is not valid admission.
- Cancelled, postponed, or ended events can block scanning.
- If the event is missing from your list, ask its owner to check your active membership and role.
Use Previous Scans to inspect scan history. Restart Scanner or Try Again can recover the camera flow after a temporary error. If camera permission is denied, enable it in the browser for the EVENTA page and retry.
