Follow someone
Open a person's profile and select Follow. A private account may show Requested until the person accepts. Following indicates an active follow relationship; use its available unfollow action to stop following.
A follow and a friendship are separate. Following does not automatically make someone your friend or grant every private-profile permission.
Add a friend
- Open the person's profile and select Add Friend.
- Confirm Send Friend Request? when prompted.
- Wait for acceptance. The button can show Pending.
- The recipient uses Accept or Decline from the request or notification.
A person's friend-request privacy may prevent you from sending a request. You can cancel your pending request where offered.
Organize circles
Open your friends area and choose Create Circle.
- Enter Circle Name, such as the name of an existing group you organize.
- Choose an emoji and color.
- Create the circle and add friends.
- Use the circle's member sheet to search, add, or remove people.
Edit Circle changes its details. Delete Circle removes the organizational group; it is not an instruction to delete the members' accounts. Circles can help select friends for invitations where the invitation flow supports them.
Connect by QR
Open Connect and choose My Code to display your connection code. Use Download, Share, or Copy connect link to share it. Choose Scan to scan another person's code, permitting camera access if necessary.
Read the result: Following, Follow Requested, Friends, or Friend Request Sent describe different outcomes. Scanning does not bypass the other person's privacy settings.
If Camera Unavailable appears, check the browser's camera permission and select Try Again. Global messaging is currently unavailable; a visible Message entry is not proof of a working live chat.
