General
Which assistants can use it? Any assistant or developer tool that supports remote MCP servers with OAuth sign-in. Eventa's server has been tested with Claude. Others should work with the same link; if yours does not, check that it supports the Streamable HTTP transport and sign-in.
Does it cost anything? The server has no usage fee built in. Whether you can add custom connectors, and any charges for that, depends on your assistant's plan.
Can an assistant buy tickets or pay for me? No. There is no payment permission. The assistant can find an event and give you its link; you finish the purchase on eventa.live.
What can it do without signing in? Search and read public information: events, clubs, venues, tournaments and help-center articles. See Public tools.
Does it work outside Bangladesh and the United States? Events and clubs from anywhere on Eventa appear. Venue listing is available in Bangladesh and the United States.
What are the built-in prompts?
plan_my_weekend (a weekend plan for a city) and find_a_venue (a shortlist for an occasion, guest count and budget). Clients that support MCP prompts list them for you to pick.
Privacy and control
What does the assistant learn about me? Only what the permissions you approved allow. Your email, phone number and ticket QR codes are never shared. See Safety and privacy.
Does Eventa keep my conversations? The MCP server stores nothing about your requests. How your assistant provider handles your conversations is set by that provider's own terms.
How do I disconnect an assistant? Open Settings → Connected apps, find the app, and choose Disconnect. It loses access within about a minute.
Sign-in problems
The assistant keeps asking me to sign in. A connection lasts up to 90 days and ends earlier after 30 days without use, when you disconnect, or if the app reuses an old refresh token. Connect again; if it repeats within minutes, the app may not be saving its new tokens.
The consent page says "This request has expired". A sign-in request is valid for 10 minutes. Start again from the assistant.
The consent page says "This app couldn't be connected". Eventa could not verify the app: unknown client, a redirect address that was not registered, or an unreachable metadata document. If you are the developer, check client registration.
A tool says it needs a permission. The tool needs a permission you did not approve. Reconnect from the assistant and allow it.
I do not see the host tools. They appear after you sign in. The first time you use one, the assistant asks for host access.
For developers
Do I need an API key? No. Public tools need nothing. Personal tools use OAuth, with no client secret.
How do I identify my app? Use a client ID that is an HTTPS URL serving a small JSON document. Details and an example are in Authentication.
Why did my tool call return 401 before I signed in?
That is how a standard client learns where to sign in. Read the WWW-Authenticate header on the response.
Why 405 on GET /mcp?
The server is stateless and accepts POST only.
What are the limits? 60 public requests per minute per client address and 30 changes per account in 10 minutes. See Limits and errors.
Can I test without touching real data? Public tools only read. For tools that change data, use your own account and your own events.
Something is wrong or missing. Contact Eventa through Contact support or email [email protected]. Include the tool name, the time, and the message you saw. Do not include tokens.
