A tournament with a stream feels like an event. EVENTA lets you add up to five streams, introduce up to twelve casters, and send players to your Discord — all from the tournament's Settings tab, before or during the cup.
Add a stream
Step 1: Open Settings and find Streams
In the console, open Settings. Streams is in the Basics section.
The Streams list: paste a link, give it a title and flip Live when you go on air.
Step 2: Paste the link
EVENTA recognises:
| Provider | Links that work |
|---|---|
| YouTube | A watch link, a youtu.be link, a live link, an embed link, a Short or a bare video ID. Channel links are not accepted. |
| Twitch | A channel link such as twitch.tv/yourname, or a past broadcast (twitch.tv/videos/…). Clips are not accepted. |
A public video, a watch link or a reel. Facebook's short share links (fb.watch/…) are resolved when you save. |
Each row tells you what it was read as — YouTube video, Twitch channel, Facebook video — so you know the link is right before saving. A rejected link explains why.
Step 3: Give it a title and flip Live
A title such as Main stage — English tells viewers which feed is which. Leave Live off until you are actually on air, and switch it on when you go live.
What viewers see
When a stream is live, a Watch live section sits above the entry panel.
The Watch live section: the player, a stream switcher and an Open on YouTube link.
- The player loads only after someone presses play, so nothing from YouTube, Twitch or Facebook is contacted until then.
- With more than one stream, the chips under the player switch feeds.
- Open on YouTube (or Twitch or Facebook) always works, even if an embed is blocked.
Live streams also appear in the Now playing rail on the Tournaments hub.

Casters
Casters, presenters and analysts give your tournament a human face.
Step 1: Add a caster
In Settings → Basics → Casters, press Add caster.
The caster editor: name, role, social links, a short bio and a photo.
For each person set:
| Field | Notes |
|---|---|
| Name | Required. |
| Role | Caster, Presenter or Analyst. |
| Instagram / Facebook | A username or a profile link. EVENTA builds the right link for you. |
| Short bio | Up to 200 characters. |
| Photo | Optional. Uploaded images are re-encoded for safety. |
Order matters: casters appear on the page in the order you list them.
Step 2: Check the page
Casters appear in Meet the casters.
Caster cards show the role, a short bio and social links.
A Discord button
Give players a place to talk. In Settings → Basics you will find two Discord options.
| Option | What it does |
|---|---|
| Discord channel | A webhook URL. EVENTA posts this tournament's updates — opening, bracket drawn, rounds, champion — to a channel of its own. Leave it empty to use the club's channel from Admin → Integrations. |
| Discord button | A server invite and a channel name. Players see Join #channel on Discord on the tournament page. |
The public Discord button. It opens your server invite; players then find the channel.

- Casters added with a photo or at least a name and role.
