Matchday has four moments: check in, the draw, your match, and the bracket. Here is each one, in the order you meet them.
Check in
If the tournament uses check-in, your team is only placed in the draw if it checks in during the window. It is how organizers cut no-shows out of a bracket instead of handing opponents a free win.
Step 1: Watch for the check-in alert
You get a notification when check-in opens, and a second nudge when a third of the window is left. The tournament page shows a Check in to keep your spot banner with a countdown.
The check-in banner: what happens if you miss it, how long is left, and the button.
Step 2: Make sure the roster is ready
A team can only check in with the tournament's minimum number of accepted players. The progress line under the team name tells you if you are ready.
The roster is complete: five of five accepted players, so the team can check in.
Step 3: Press Check in
The captain or a co-captain checks the team in. Players on a solo cup check themselves in.
After check-in the banner confirms it, and the roster shows as locked.
If you have a problem, an organizer can check you in by hand from the participants list.
The draw
When the organizer presses Start, only checked-in entrants are drawn into the bracket. Everyone in the tournament sees a short reveal the first time they open it.
Animated walkthroughThe first time you open a started tournament, the draw is revealed. Press OK and the teams take their slots.
Every checked-in team appears in the bracket with a crest. Top seeds that get a bye skip the first round.
Your match
Once the bracket is live, the hero shows a LIVE chip and the main button becomes Go to your match.
A live tournament: the LIVE chip and a button that jumps straight to your match.
The match card
Your match card: round, opponent, status, their line-up, a lobby code box and Report result.
Agree a time with your opponent in the club chat or Discord. If the organizer has published a running order, it appears on the Schedule section.
Follow the bracket
The Bracket section shows every round, live. Switch between a graphic Bracket and a simple List at the top.
The bracket view: zoom, pan, jump to your match, and a legend explaining the status colours.
- My match jumps to your match and highlights it.
- Zoom with the buttons or with Ctrl + scroll; drag to pan.
- The progress bar shows how many matches are decided.
- The legend explains the colours: your match, waiting on opponents, ready to play, awaiting confirmation, disputed and completed.
The list view is the same bracket as a text version, better for phones and screen readers.
Double elimination
In a double elimination bracket the Winners and Losers brackets are shown separately, followed by the Grand finals. See Formats explained.
Groups and points series
For groups + knockout, the group tables appear first and the knockout bracket is drawn once every group match has a result. For points series (battle royale), there is no bracket: you see a live standings table and your own lobby room. See Battle royale and points series.
When matches go wrong
| Situation | What to do |
|---|---|
| Opponent is not in the lobby | Post in the club chat, then follow the organizer's no-show rule. |
| The score you see is wrong | Use This is not what happened on the confirmation window, or contact the organizer. See Results. |
| You were told you are in a match, but the page says otherwise | Refresh. The bracket updates live, but a stale tab can lag. |
