Battle royale games have no head-to-head matches. Everyone drops into the same lobby, finishes somewhere, and scores points. EVENTA's points series is built for exactly this. Players see their room and live standings; organizers enter each game's results from the lobby screen.
A points series: each game scores every entrant, and the table adds up placement and elimination points.
How the scoring works
For each game, an entrant earns:
- Placement points from a table you set — for example 12 for 1st, 9 for 2nd, 8 for 3rd and so on;
- Points per elimination — often 1 per kill; and
- Points below the table for anyone who places lower than the last listed place.
Totals accumulate across all games. After the final game, the highest total is champion. Ties in a paying position must be broken before standings can be published.
| Setting | Range |
|---|---|
| Games in the series | 1–30 (the Fortnite, PUBG Mobile and Free Fire templates start at 6) |
| Placement points | One value per place, as many places as you like |
| Points per elimination | Any value, usually 1 |
| Entrants | 2–256 players or squads |
Set up the series
Create the tournament as usual — see Create a tournament — and choose a battle royale template. On the form:
- Check the Games count.
- Edit the scoring table if the defaults do not suit you.
- Leave Organizers only reporting: a battle royale is scored by the organizer, who holds the lobby result screen.
- If you charge entry, remember the template's safeguards: at least eight entrants, four games, check-in, screenshots as proof and a confirmation window of at least an hour.
Run the day
Registration, check-in, the waitlist and Start work exactly as in Run your tournament. One difference: there is no draw, because everyone plays everything. Start assigns each entrant a lobby slot.
Step 1: Open the Scoring tab
The Scoring tab replaces the bracket. A numbered chip row selects the game; a green dot means that game has been scored.
The Scoring tab: pick a game, post its room, then enter placement and eliminations for every entrant.
Step 2: Post the room before the game
A custom match needs a room. Enter the Room ID, an optional Password and a short Note such as "Custom lobby opens 8:55 PM".
The room form for the next game. Post now sends it; Post at schedules it.
Tick Post at to schedule it. You can Re-post if the room changed, or Take down if you made a mistake.
Step 3: Players see their room
Each squad gets a Your room card with the room, the password and their slot in the lobby.
The player's room card: the room ID and password, with a copy button, and their lobby slot.
If two squads need to trade slots, tap one slot number in the Scoring grid, then another, to swap them.
Step 4: Enter the results
After the game, copy the results from the lobby screen. For every entrant enter their placement and eliminations, then press Score game N. The standings update straight away. Attach evidence links (screenshots of the lobby result) if you can.
Step 5: Check the live table
The standings so far, with trophy icons for the top three.
Players see the same table on the public page, in the bracket section.
The public standings, updated after every game.
Step 6: Publish the standings
When all games are scored, press Publish standings. If two entrants are level on a paying place the console asks you to resolve the tie first. Publishing locks the table and releases prizes.
If an entrant disagrees
There is no head-to-head confirmation in a battle royale, because you hold the lobby result screen. The check on that power is transparency: the table is public after every game, and screenshots are your evidence. If an entrant spots a wrong row, they message you; correct it by scoring that game again.
Tips for smooth lobbies
- Post rooms 10–15 minutes early and say so in the note.
- Set the check-in window to close before the first room.
- Pre-agree a no-teaming rule in the tournament rules; EVENTA records results but cannot see in-game behaviour.
- Screenshot every result screen. It is your evidence if an entrant contests.
